Ezypay and the Fitness Industry Survey

The Fitness Industry Survey is conducted by Australia’s premier direct debit and financial solutions provider, Ezypay in collaboration with award-winning gym management software iconnect360.  It has been an annual marketing activity since 2008 to survey Australian-based gym owners, managers, staff and members to get a up-to-date understanding of the fitness industry trends.

This remarkably successful survey campaign has since spread to include New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, making the largest fitness survey ever conducted in the region.  A burning desire to acquire knowledge combined with a simple motive, which is to improve the state of the fitness industry across countries generate extraordinary results.

The campaign involved, among other initiatives, surveying both owners/managers and members across Australia and other participating countries to get an understanding of the fitness industry trends. The questions are varied and each year they focus on a particular topic. These range from retention, sales, technology, social media and personal training. Eventually, the answers of the survey will reveal the key trends in the fitness industry. The results from the Fitness Industry Survey will greatly benefit the health and fitness industry in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong plus helping in implementing direct debiting systems for gyms.

The 2014 Fitness Industry Survey is currently available for download and features several infographs on personal trainers and memberships.
