“The Telstra Business Awards recognise the brilliance of Australian businesses and help them reflect on their strategies, goals and how they can achieve a better future, but they also inspire their communities by highlighting the hard work and creative force that go into keeping a small business running, fulfilling business owners’ passions and dreams,” Telstra Business Group Managing Director and Telstra Business Awards Ambassador, Will Irving said.
A determination to shake things up in the payments industry has created success for direct debit company Ezypay. Constant growth and reinvention has been the norm over the last 18 years for Ezypay. Quite an achievement for a company started in the back of a gym in Pennant Hills.
Making payments easy for small business owners has always been Ezypay’s goal. “Even now if you ask an Ezypay client what comes to mind when they think of Ezypay the answer is unanimous. “Ezypay makes payments easy.” says Trent Brown, Chief Executive Officer, at Ezypay.
“We have always been focused on this goal but over the last 5 years we made a conscious decision to invest in technology. This resulted in the development of our world class membership management software iconnect360. At the heart of the software is the user experience which seems to have hit exactly the right mark with a multi-national client choosing iconnect360 and Ezypay for their clubs in several Asian countries.” states Brown.
“The whole team is exceptionally proud of our achievement being recognised as a finalist in the 2014 Telstra Business Awards. We were lucky enough to be a winner of the exact same award in 2010 and the buzz it created for the team was tremendous. I think the team was on a high for months. We have our fingers crossed it will be something we experience again in 2014.” says Ezypay CEO Trent Brown.
Winners of the Telstra NSW Business Awards will be announced at the Westin Sydney on 1 July 2014.
