Ever heard of CrossFit? If you haven’t, this is how they describe it on the CrossFit Sydney website.
In short, CrossFit is a fitness training system that consists of functional movements combined into high intensity, varied workouts.
Andrew Cattermole, the Owner of CrossFit Sydney, is not just an expert in fitness, he is also a talented business person. One of the tools that he is using to grow his business is Ezypay’s direct debit gateway (DDG) which sits on his website and allows customers to sign-up to his CrossFit facility with no paper, and in their own time.
Can you see the big red button? Hard to miss right?
Speaking with Andrew this week he told me that he has “…had it for over a year now and has found it excellent.”
He said that people are not worried about security or privacy when using this tool, they are more concerned about the terms of the membership. He states the real benefit of the system for him are “…the ease of members signing on, (him) not storing documents, and members do it in their own time, and paperless.”
He finds that most people either come in for a trial session. If they like it, they either sign-up online using his laptop in the gym or they go home and sign-up in their own time.
He said that “There was a small set-up fee that he had to pay his web developer to embed the link in his site, but the financial benefit has outweighed the cost and it didn’t take long at all for it to pay for itself.”
