Chatswood – NSW – Ezypay named NSW Finalist in the Telstra Business Awards for the second time.
A determination to shake things up in the payments industry has created success for direct debit company Ezypay. Constant growth and reinvention has been the norm over the last 18 years. Quite an achievement for a company started in the back of a gym in Pennant Hills by owner George Holman.
“We know we work with a talented and inspirational group of people who are passionate about making payments easy. However to receive the external recognition of being named a finalist for the second time is external recognition of the team.” says Trent Brown, Chief Executive Officer at Ezypay.
“It’s very exciting to be a finalist in the Telstra Biz Awards again!” says Nina Yassin, Customer Service Team Leader at Ezypay. “Especially when you see the calibre of the other finalists and know your business is there too.”
“Our business is about our people,” says Brown. “We know that and commit a lot of time and energy focusing on, promoting and developing the Ezypay culture. This is an opportunity to strengthen our company culture. For example our KL team who develop the iconnect360 software product, put together a message of support for the Sydney team. It wasn’t something we asked them to do they just did it.
“In 2010 we won best medium business in NSW – it was an awesome high and we dedicated the win to our team used it as a way to say thanks for all your support and hard work over the years.” said Brown.
Winners of the Telstra NSW Business Awards will be announced at the Westin in Sydney tonight 1 July 2014.
