All pricing plans for educational institutes include multi-site management on one account, cross border settlements which allows you to collect payable fees across different countries,
multi-currency settlement (e.g. sell in NZD but collect in AUD), online payment plans and an online payment gateway to collect failed debits.

Does Ezypay offer reporting features?


Ezypay provides eight real-time reports that educational institutes can access anytime on our basic platform offering. These reports include a Distribution Report, Transaction Details Report, Outstanding Failed Payment Report, Distribution Tax Report, Customer List Report, Invalid Customer Details Report and Change Event Report.   

A 9th report, the Trend Analysis Report, is easily added to your plan as an additional service. This comprehensive report enables you to track your educational institute's progress month-to-month. You'll be able to access trends in customer billing, transaction value and failed payments value and volumes.

Can paying students or parents set up direct debit to their preference?


Yes, Ezypay's direct debit for education solutions enable whoever is paying the fees to select the frequency with which they make them. The payer can choose the frequency, and then institute administrators set their choice in their platform. Ezypay allows institutes to quickly set up multiple payment plans with direct debit instructions based on term, quantity, or usage. 

What happens if a payment fails?


Should a payment fail, an automatic notification will be sent to the student or parent. They will then be provided with two payment recovery options to resolve the issue:  

  1. Using the Ezypay online payment portal to complete the payment. 
  2. Contact the Ezypay customer service team.

Ezypay's direct debit for education also benefits from an auto 'rebill' option, where the  payment will be attempted again. Ezypay's rebill option is easily customised to meet the needs of your educational institute and the payment patterns of your students.  

For each failed payment, you can then edit the amount to be collected, change the rebill date, write off, or add the outstanding failed amount to the next payment to be collected. 

Will failed payments incur a fee?


Yes, they will. For payments that fail, the chosen payment method will be charged a flat fee on the next billing attempt. This charge can be applied to payments that have failed due to insufficient funds, invalid account details, cancelled cards, or other blocks that have been put on the account.

Are there any fees?


Starting direct debit for universities, educational institutes, or RTO’s with Ezypay is entirely free. Furthermore, there are no monthly or annual fees. The only fees that apply are the one-off student load fee – (when the student signs up for the direct debit), the transaction fee, as well as the failed payment fee. Your educational institution has the choice of who pays the fee, whether you absorb the costs, or pass it onto the students. 

How secure is students' payment information?


Ezypay is entirely PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant, which is the highest possible payment security accreditation. Our processes ensure that all sensitive business and customer details involved in processing educational direct debit, including billing, payments, and card processing, are handled with the utmost respect to your customer's crucial payment details.

How do students and parents sign up?


The onboarding process is easy. Your customers will have access to a URL link generated as part of your plan, with which they can easily complete their sign up.

What happens if a customer does not pay after their initial payment has failed?


Ezypay offers an auto ‘rebill’ option, where we will attempt to collect the payment again from the customer. The rebill option can be customised according to your business’s needs. For each failed payment, you also have the options to change the amount to be collected, change the rebill date, write off, or add the outstanding failed amount to the next payment to be collected.

Can a customer update their payment details online?


Customers can get in touch with your business directly to update their payment details. They are only able to update their payment details and pay any outstanding amount on the Ezypay Online Payment Portal in the case of a failed payment. Once the payment is rectified, they can opt to save the new payment details for the next debit collection.

How do I download the customer list for my business?


Your Customer List Report is located under the REPORTS tab on our secure site. You can generate the report 
in real time and export the data in popular formats, including PDF, CSV and Excel.

What are your customer support hours?


Ezypay customer service is available from 8am to 6pm on Monday to Friday (GMT+10). However, the Ezypay secure site is accessible online 24/7, worldwide.
